Tampa ABC Action News visited Ruskin Elementary School in Hillsborough County, Florida last week to spread the word about DonorsChoose.org to Tampa teachers and potential citizen philanthropists.Reporter Porcha Johnson interviewed first grade teacher "Ms. R" who has had proposals funded on DonorsChoose.org. Ms. R has received a Smart Talk Reader to increase students' vocabulary and a classroom library, including the book "Don’t Eat Too Much Turkey."
