DonorsChoose.org gets some great press in St. Louis

Share:

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch ran a fantastic story featuring DonorsChoose.org’s expansion into the Gateway City. The article highlights three teachers who have had terrific success using DonorsChoose.org, acquiring chemistry lab equipment, books, and a document camera for their classrooms. This year, St. Louis teachers have already submitted more projects than they did during the entire 2007-2008 school year. The story also highlights the terrific involvement of Maxine Clark, CEO of Build-A-Bear Workshop, and her generous donations to local classrooms.Anna McNulty, a teacher at Sumner High School, described her experience with DonorsChoose.org fittingly in the article:"You don't have to be limited to teaching what you have," McNulty said. "It lets you dream."We are very excited to be having a larger impact in St. Louis, and we know that this terrific story will help spread the word to teachers and donors throughout Greater St. Louis.
