Great news for inspiring innovation in high school classrooms! Thanks to a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, DonorsChoose.org is offering a “Double Your Impact” challenge for all college preparatory projects submitted from high-need (40% or more students eligible for free/reduced lunch) and/or rural high school classrooms! This means that project funding is currently available for classroom materials that will help prepare your students for college! To participate, just submit one or more project request(s) for resources to prepare your students for college at www.DonorsChoose.org by February 1, 2009. In order to qualify, make sure to explain in your submission how the resources you request will help prepare your students for college. Any project you post to DonorsChoose.org that meets these criteria will be eligible for 50% funding from the Gates Foundation. This 50% of funding will activate automatically if other donors choose to join in and fund the rest of your project! For priority consideration, please submit your project request(s) on www.DonorsChoose.org by February 1, 2009!
