Arkansas Community Foundation is partnering with DonorsChoose.org for a seventh year to implement the 2015 SIMS (Science Initiative for Middle Schools) program in Arkansas! Funding for this minigrant program is made possible by an endowed gift from the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation. Each year, SIMS minigrants are available to Arkansas public school teachers in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 who are teaching science in counties served by one of the Community Foundation's 27 local affiliates. The Community Foundation and its affiliates will consider projects that meet the criteria listed below and determine which projects receive funding. 5. If you meet these qualifications, your request will be referred to the grantmaking committee of the Community Foundation affiliate in your area. Up to 300 projects from across the state will be selected for full funding.
