Today, in honor of teachers everywhere and to celebrate our favorite week, AT&T is launching an offer to bring hundreds of public school projects “Almost Home.”What is AT&T Funding? For more than 25 years, AT&T and the AT&T Foundation have been committed to strengthening communities through advancing education. In 2008, the company launched AT&T Aspire , specifically focused on confronting the high school dropout crisis to help ensure students graduate prepared for the future challenges of continuing education and the workforce. AT&T's support of DonorsChoose.org will target projects focused on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education and college and career preparation.How does it work? Starting May 2nd, AT&T will match funding for eligible projects at DonorsChoose.org up to $100,000. All eligible projects need less than $100 to make them a reality for a teacher and his/her classroom. You can pick a project to support in honor of a teacher that made an impact in your life.
