The kind folks at Build-A-Bear Workshop love to support students and teachers, and they have a new campaign challenging their guests to do the same. Starting today and lasting through October 16th, each customer has the option of making a $1 donation to DonorsChoose.org when they check out at stores or at www.buildabear.com. The funding will support classroom needs at public schools across the country that were hit hardest by this year’s natural disasters. A significant portion of this funding will help students in Joplin, Missouri where over 260 classrooms were completely destroyed by a tornado on May 22.So go to your local Build-A-Bear Workshop store and when you are checking out after making your new furry friend, please consider making a donation to help kids learn…and tell your friends!
