Lands’ End makes nice clothes, right? Well, it turns out they also make nice with art programs at public schools! As a way of thanking teachers and celebrating the end of the school year, starting today Lands’ End will give $1 to art projects on DonorsChoose.org for each new Facebook user that "likes" them. They hope to recruit 10,000 new fans and raise $10,000 for new art supplies in classrooms nationwide. This donation is contingent, though, on Facebook users "liking" Lands’ End via their Facebook page by June 6th - so act fast. On June 7th they'll start funding up to $10,000 worth of projects - a snappy way to kick off the summer!Thank a teacher. Spread the word.
