In August, First 5 LA launched their second year of a of a four-year partnership with DonorsChoose.org by providing a Double Your Impact match offer for Pre-school, Pre-K and Transitional Kindergarten projects submitted by public school teachers in Los Angeles County. Last year, through this partnership, 327 projects in LA County were brought to life, reaching more than 10,700 little ones!This year, First 5 LA will match up to $112,500 in classroom materials (that means $225,000 for Pre-K classrooms!) for the 2012-2013 school year while funding is available. Make sure to submit your project today and it will qualify within a week of submission.
