For the second year in a row, our partner General Growth Properties and local GGP malls around the country are supporting classrooms through the Celebrate Schools! program. Last year during back-to-school season, GGP malls and their shoppers helped bring nearly 6,500 classroom projects to life and helped 483,000 students get the learning materials they needed to start the school year.This year, just one week into the campaign, GGP mall shoppers have already applied over $310,000 to classroom projects bringing over 1,000 classroom projects to life. Mall shoppers have generously donated to rebuildclassrooms in Moore, OK and set a new record for most DonorsChoose.org gift cards redeemed in one day (9,921 – wow!)Thank you GGP malls for celebrating teachers and classrooms around the country!
