Teachers have created classroom project requests that aim to bring understanding and empathy to humanity’s darkest hour. In honor of Holocaust Remembrance Week, we’ve compiled a list of Holocaust education projects in need of funding:
- Mrs. Mill’s trip to the Museum of Tolerance will help her students connect Holocaust history to their lives today.
- Ms. Harvey’s high school elective class will give students the opportunity to create a multimedia online textbook on the Holocaust to be shared with other classes and schools.
- Mrs. Caza’s Holocaust unit mixes Elie Wiesel’s first-hand account of the Holocaust to evoke empathy in her students with a Holocaust-themed graphic novel to engage her visual learners.
Support a Holocaust education project and help the next generation learn from history.
