HS Teachers @ High Need/Rural Schools: College prep projects have a 90% chance of being funded on DonorsChoose.org!

Thanks to a $4 million dollar grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, DonorsChoose.org offers high-school teachers at high-need (40% or more students eligible for free/reduced lunch) or rural schools half-funding for projects aimed to prepare students for college!Any college-prep project submitted to DonorsChoose.org from a high-need or rural high school teacher will be eligible for 50% funding from the Gates Foundation. This funding will activate automatically when other donors fund the rest of the project. Last year, over $2 million in eligible projects were funded through this grant, giving high school college-prep projects on our site a 93% success rate!
