We’d love for you to get to know one of our most incredible teachers, James Walter Doyle.Mr. Doyle is an English teacher at Thurgood Marshall Academy in Harlem, New York. In his time at Thurgood Marshall Academy, he has fundraised for over 40 successful classroom projects through DonorsChoose.org.He created the "Kids, Culture, and College Level Learning" initiative to take his scope beyond the classroom and expose his high school students to new cultures through international research and travel. He has taken students to 12 countries over the last four years, pushing students to explore and understand a foreign country through the lens of all academic subjects.Mr. Doyle’s energy and passion changes the lives of his students.
