Hi there! My name is Casey Wu, and I'm a rising junior studying Psychology at Brown University. I grew up in California and went to an international school in Shanghai for high school. During my time in Shanghai, I was heavily involved with educational initiatives to improve English literacy in Chinese adults and children. At Brown, I am a member of a fusion dance company, an editor for a food and travel magazine, and a researcher in a social psychology lab. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, indulging in really good food, and watching all the movies. I'm so excited to be working at DonorsChoose.org as a Customer Experience Intern this summer!

I’m an MBA student at Chicago Booth, and have a background in social impact and finance. Before Business School, I worked in Venezuela as a consultant in the education and social enterprise sector. In this role, I worked with a university on a project focused on enhancing the school’s marketing and recruiting techniques, and with ImpactHub creating an incubator program for social entrepreneurs. Before Venezuela, I was an investments analyst at J.P. Morgan in NYC. Hello, DonorsChoose.org! My name's Miki Takeshita, and I'm a second year History major at the University of Chicago, joining the Customer Relations team. I'm a born and bred New Yorker but I've also spent some time in Tokyo and New Hampshire. My experience donating to a project through DonorsChoose.org and being a college mentor for high school students on the South Side of Chicago led me to become interested in being a part of the DonorsChoose.org team. In my free time, I love to swim, discover new restaurants and cuisines, and play piano. Hi Everyone! My name is Zatio Kone, and I'll be jumping into the customer experience internship this summer. I'm going to be a senior at Williams College where I study psychology. Outside of classes, I dance in an African dance ensemble, practice photography, and watch Spanish movies. I'm a native New Yorker with a New England heart, so I love hiking and canoeing. Hello everyone! I am beyond excited to embark on this new journey with you all. My name is Zobaida Hossain, and I am a Customer Experience Intern this summer. I am originally from Bangladesh but I moved to New York City in 2000. In the Fall, I will be starting my senior year at Fordham University and continue my studies as an English Major. Beyond that, I will also be attending Fordham for an accelerated Masters in Adolescent English Education program. I am the oldest of three children, and in my free time, I like to take my siblings out of Queens and explore the city. I also love to read, write, paint, and knit. Hi, my name is Alisia LoSardo! I'm originally from Bergen County New Jersey, about half an hour outside the city, and I'm currently a rising senior at Fairfield University. I'm majoring in Psychology and minoring in English. At school, I enjoy film, playing basketball and volleyball and writing for the school newspaper. Volunteer work is also a big part of my life; I love taking what I learn inside the classroom and using it to evoke change in the outside world. Hi everyone, my name is Arianna Fullard and I am a rising sophomore at Wesleyan University from Harlem, New York. I am a prospective African American Studies and Sociology double major. I was an intern at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in the Crime Strategies Unit during the summer of 2013. Last summer, I was a Development intern at Jazz at Lincoln Center. At Wesleyan, I’m involved in many student groups centered around social justice, political activism, and the arts. I love film photography, music, and all kinds of movies. My name is Eleanor Armstrong, and I am a rising junior at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a double major in International Relations and French Studies with a minor in Economic Policy. Though I was born and raised in a small town in England, I moved to New York City ten years ago and somehow have yet to lose my accent! At Penn, I became deeply passionate about education during my freshman year thanks to my time as a tutor with the West Philadelphia Tutsoring Project. I also worked with an after school program that teaches sexual education classes at local schools that can no longer offer their full health curriculum due to budget cuts. In my free time, I love to read, travel, and try out as many new foods as possible (I've even eaten live termites). My name is Sean Corley, and I am a senior at SUNY Maritime College. I am currently studying International Business, with a concentration in transportation and trade. As a student-athlete at SUNY Maritime, I was the starting point guard and captain for 3 years on the Men's Basketball team. I am a Harlem native and a proud product of Thurgood Marshall Academy. I have spent the last four years working with kids in high poverty neighborhoods as a part of Harlem Children Zone and the Police Athletic League. Hi everyone, my name is Nicole Foster. I'm from Long Island, and I study Computer Science and Economics at Cornell University. My passion for the education system started two years ago when I saw the lack of funding for classroom projects while working in a school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. This summer, I will be interning in the Data Science department of DonorsChoose.org, and I look forward to searching for new insights in the data at the organization and hopefully assisting classrooms from the other side. Hi DonorsChoose.org! My name is Karla Molina. I was born in the Amazonian region of Ecuador and raised in New York City. I completed my undergraduate degree in history and Latin American studies at the University of Pennsylvania in 2012. Then through the New York Teaching Fellows program, I earned my masters degree in childhood education with a focus on bilingual education at Hunter College in 2014. I am currently a full time third grade bilingual teacher for a school in the Flatbush area of Brooklyn. My dedication and devotion to education, particularly in the inner-city school districts, stems from my desire to see children of all backgrounds, including undocumented children, succeed both academically and socially. I absolutely love walking into a classroom where students are free to innovate and guide their own learning. Besides that, I am an avid half marathoner. Hello everyone! My name is Krystal R. Molina and I was born and raised in New York City. This coming fall, I will attend Columbia University where I hope to study business and human rights. I primarily focus on technology, finance, and politics. I have competed in international coding competitions, have participated in many entrepreneurship ventures, and have interned for NY City Council Members. I am a very adventurous person when it comes to the outdoors. I enjoy traveling, and on these travels I have done everything from zip-line to white water rafting. Parasailing, kayaking, or paragliding anyone? Adventures are twice as good when shared with company.
