In the month since the EF5 tornado hit Moore, OK DonorsChoose.org has continued to connect with affected teachers and administrators to help restart their classrooms. Mrs. Crosswhite, a teacher at Plaza Towers Elementary School, has encouraged many of her colleagues to post projects on DonorsChoose.org. She shared these words with us:
We are Plaza Towers Elementary and like our panther, we are strong. Most Americans had never heard of us until May 20,2013 but now we are known to all. We are Moore and we are strong but many of our students not only lost their school but also their homes. Help us rebuild our classroom with supplies.
We want to thank Mrs. Crosswhite for all her help and applaud her and all Moore citizens on their bravery and endurance.
