DonorsChoose.org is partnering with NBC’s A More Colorful World initiative, which will coordinate programming across NBC networks in order to make a difference to those in need.The first focus of campaign is Education, which launches today in conjunction with the premiere of the show “School Pride” (tonight at 8 p.m. on NBC!). The shows follow students, teachers, and parents as they roll up their sleeves and rebuild their own schools - concluding with the unveiling of a brand new, completely transformed school.“‘School Pride’ will get the conversation started around the state of our schools. We hope the show will inspire viewers to action by supporting a teacher in their own neighborhood who has posted a project request on DonorsChoose.org,” said DonorsChoose.org CEO Charles Best.NBC.com's My School Pride site gives viewers, parents, teachers, and community leaders tangible ways to help local schools.
