Ms. Pace of Robert Moses Middle School in Babylon, NY helps her students develop their life skills. She teaches children who participate in a special career development program designed to help students with disabilities work on their life and social skills in addition to academic work. The students do a lot of cooking in the classroom.During the holidays, Ms. Pace’s class bakes dozens of cookies for the school staff and their families. Ms. Pace has requested a KitchenAid mixer to expedite and simplify the baking process. In the past the students have used a handheld mixer to make the cookie dough, but this year, the addition of a KitchenAid mixer will allow the students to use different features and baking techniques.Learn how you can help Ms. Pace’s students spread holiday cheer through baking here.
