While not every student will be heading back to a school building this fall, everyone is heading back to learning! On Tuesday, August 11, our friends at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation once again helped us kick off the school year. For one day, they gave a 50% boost to donations for every DonorsChoose project.
Thanks to their generosity, and the generosity of 42,664 donors, together we fully funded 10,124 projects — in just one day! Congrats to the nearly 20,000 teachers who received donations to their projects.
