Our community has the power to make sure students have the food, clothing, and hygiene items they need.

When it comes to student hunger, we think Bronx parent coordinator Ms. Hankerson said it best: "Food is a human right, and everyone should have something to eat."

Adrienne is a parent coordinator at New York City public school IS-584, and is one of many school champions across the country who provide for their students’ basic life needs with food, hygiene items, and clothing. For many young learners across the country, school is one of the most consistent places where they know they can get their wellbeing needs met. Teachers know this, and 40% of them are digging into their own pockets on a daily or weekly basis to get their students the granola bars, warm coats, and hygiene items necessary to get through the day.

Our 2026 Teacher Survey polled 2,500 US public school educators and found that projects requesting Food, Clothing, and Hygiene-focused items have seen a 270% increase over the last 5 years. These needs are fundamental, and they're growing.

Explore Food, Clothing, and Hygiene projects to support students in the communities that matter to you, and keep an eye out for upcoming opportunities to help your donation go even further! Together, let's get our students the well-being necessities they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
