DonorsChoose.org was thrilled to be selected as a beneficiary of the Chevron World Challenge last month. The Chevron World Challenge tournament is a PGA co-sponsored event and features 18 of the world’s best golfers including Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, Graeme McDowell (2010’s champion!), Martin Kaymer, and Anthony Kim. Over the past 12 years they have raised approximately $20 million to benefit education-focused organizations like DonorsChoose.org. DonorsChoose.org has been lucky enough to have an ongoing partnership with Chevron and, now that we’re receiving even more support through the Chevron World Challenge, we can just picture all the smiles on tons of California students’ faces! We’ve been lucky enough to support so many classrooms over the past ten years and support like this is going to make the next decade at DonorsChoose.org an even bigger success.We can’t wait to see how much California classrooms will benefit from the Chevron World Challenge!
