BuzzFeed: Stephen Colbert is Funding Every Single Teacher-Requested Grant in South Carolina

TV comedian and soon-to-be Late Show host Stephen Colbert announced Thursday that he would fund all grant requests from South Carolina on the crowdfunding site Donorschoose.org, worth $800,000.

Colbert grew up in Charleston, South Carolina and is a product of the state's public schools.
