“You cannot be lonely if you like the person you’re alone with.” –Wayne DyerJuly 11th is National Cheer Up the Lonely Day, and in honor of this holiday we’ve decided to share an inspiring project on our site. Ms. Morales, a Special Education teacher from LA, is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for her students.One of her projects, “Help Us Fight Bullying in Schools,” aims to help those students who have ever felt lonely or picked on in the classroom. Ms. Morales has requested books such as “Bullying in Schools”, “Everybody Feels Sad”, and “Making Friends Fred Rogers”, along with many other uplifting books and activities to help her students gain confidence, combat bullying, and deal with their emotions when feeling lonely.
