EveryBlock helps neighbors support local schools EveryBlock, the popular neighborhood news and discussion site, connects neighbors with their community. This month, they’re asking users to show their neighborhood some love by spreading the word about EveryBlock to support local schools.Throughout April, EveryBlock will donate $1 to classroom fundraisers on behalf of each neighbor who joins the site in select cities.At the end of the program, EveryBlock will award a $500 bonus to the three neighborhoods in Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, New York and Philadelphia that tally the most new users.Here’s how you can help support public schools and strengthen your EveryBlock community at the same time:

- Invite your friends and neighbors in Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, New York and Philadelphia to join the site during the month of April using the “invite a friend” option or downloadable flyer
