We’d like to give a special shout-out to one of our teachers, Marisa Martinez, who was recently named San Francisco’s Teacher of the Month! Hailing from New Mexico, Marisa has been a long time teacher of DonorsChoose.org and believes that music is a key element for students’ success. She was recognized as a “role model to help students succeed in the classroom, but more importantly to help young people believe in themselves”.
