On August 3rd 1492, Christopher Columbus embarked on a journey that would change everyone's perception of the world. In honor of this remarkable day, we wanted to highlight a project that shares a similar passion for discovery.Mrs. Smith from San Diego, CA recently wants her students to create life-size boats out of only pieces of cardboard and packaging tape. Her goal? To push the boundaries of learning and teach her students the "fundamentals of physics, such as density, volume and buoyancy".Her students were hesitant at first, thinking that this assignment was impossible. Nevertheless, her students are determined to defy the odds and "make the impossible possible".
